In 2005, Erin Barrow started her design career in commercial real estate for J.Crew in Manhattan. Moving back to Birmingham started her career in residential design and escalated her passion for the industry. Erin’s knowledgeable reputation within the building industry gave her the idea to start SWAG Design Studio. In 2009, SWAG Design Studio was created to fulfill a need the Birmingham area was lacking through home staging, allowing the real estate market an opportunity to visualize every vacant space through home staging & design services. With an extensive background in new construction, Erin understands the demographics and the dynamics of a competitive marketplace.

 

SWAG Design Studio has grown into a full-service interior design studio offering home stagings, residential design services for both new construction and remodeling and model home furnishings.

 

In 2014, Mollie Piccirilli joined SWAG as Design Director to enhance collaboration with clients, project managers, builders, and REALTORS to ensure our vision becomes their reality. ​

In 2021, Jennifer Felton joined the team as Operations Director to facilitate all online inquiries, schedule installations with clients and our in-house movers, and coordinate product deliveries such as furniture and decor for projects.

In 2023, Lizzy Dunavant joined SWAG as Marketing Director and Design Liaison. After working in custom homebuilding for 7 years, Lizzy brings her knowledge of new construction, remodeling, project management and marketing expertise to the team.
